Four HD shadow characters for top-down games. Shadow Knight, Shadow Elite Paladin, Shadow Ronin and Shadow Skeleton Warlord: dark violet silhouettes with a lilac rim light and smoke peeling off them. Every animation in all 8 directions, 232×224 px, 232×246 px, 242×222 px and 252×226 px frames (plus 128 px copies), and a smoke death for every character.

Attacks and a smoke death

Sword, mace, katana and axe attacks, each in all 8 directions, aimed where the character faces. Every character also has a smoke death: the body dissolves into drifting smoke behind a glowing violet edge, ending on empty frames so you can remove the character without a pop. The regular death is in the pack too.

Colour variations

16 colour variations in the optional ColourVariations folder (Shadow Elite Paladin: crimson, emerald, azure, ember; Shadow Knight: crimson, emerald, azure, ember; Shadow Ronin: crimson, emerald, azure, ember; Shadow Skeleton Warlord: crimson, emerald, azure, ember), every animation in all 8 directions, plus recolour masks and a Godot shader for your own colours.

Quick import

1. Godot 4: copy the character folder into your project and assign its SpriteFrames to an AnimatedSprite2D.
2. Other engines: slice the PNG sheets using the cell size, row order (S, SE, E, NE, N, NW, W, SW) and FPS from the JSON.
3. Keep the supplied feet pivot so characters stand on the ground in every direction.

FAQ

Which size should I use? The native size (listed above) or the 128 px copies; pick one scale for your camera.

Do they match the other packs? Yes: the same camera angle, scale and light direction as every character in the series, so the shadow versions can fight next to the originals.
