Free Spectral Wolf – Top-Down 8-Direction Ghost Sprite (HD)

A complete HD ghost wolf, free. The Spectral Wolf: pale, see-through and softly glowing, with wisps where the paws fade. Every animation in all 8 directions, 244×220 px frames (plus 128 px copies), and a mist death. Try the style, scale and import in your own project before choosing a pack.

Four attacks and a mist death

Bite, pounce, head-shake and a lunging bite, each in all 8 directions, aimed where the ghost wolf faces. The mist death: the body pales, breaks into mist and drifts upward, ending on empty frames so you can remove the character without a pop. The regular death is in the download too.

Colour variations

4 colour variations in the optional ColourVariations folder (violet, crimson, toxic green, ice blue), every animation in all 8 directions, plus recolour masks and a Godot shader for your own colours.

Quick import

1. Godot 4: copy the character folder into your project and assign its SpriteFrames to an AnimatedSprite2D.
2. Other engines: slice the PNG sheets using the cell size, row order (S, SE, E, NE, N, NW, W, SW) and FPS from the JSON.
3. Keep the supplied feet pivot so the character stands on the ground in every direction.

FAQ

Which size should I use? The native 244×220 px or the 128 px copies; pick one scale for your camera.

Does it match the other packs? Yes: the same camera angle, scale and light direction as every character in the series, so the ghost wolf can run next to the Free Wolf and the other packs.
